My name is John Wills and I am a junior. I wrestle, play football, and I'm a huge foodie. I chose to take Photo I because I needed one more art credit to graduate and did not want to take art classes next year. But, I actually enjoyed taking photo. My sister took the class three times when she was at West and would always bring home photos she took. She was part of the reason that I had even chose Photo as an elective. I have never been an artist or have good artistic ability, but I did enjoy learning about how much actually goes into printing a photo.

Most of my photos utilize the rule of thirds perspective, mainly because it is easy and visually appealing. Other than the ten photos on the site, a lot of my prints were either blurry or gray. Luckily, I had some help to fix these issues by the end of the year. I regret not taking more creative shots throughout the class, but I am happy with a lot of the one's I took. As well as Rule of Third's, my photos also use leading lines. I think leading lines is my favorite because it looks really cool and leads the viewer down the photo.
